Refugee Health
People who arrive as refugees often have complex needs. As a result, accessible, multiple and complementary entry points to health and community service systems are necessary, both for specialists and mainstream services.
The Refugee Health Nurse situated at Goulburn Valley Community Health is able to work closely with local existing services and refugees to assists with referrals, transport and orientation to General Practices, hospital services and a variety of community programs.
