The Division provides resources, education, training and support to GPs and practice staff to access and utilise Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) items and Practice Incentive Program (PIP) Service Incentive Payments (SIP) relating to the prevention and management of chronic disease.
Since their introduction, these items have undergone significant changes and have been joined by other items and service incentive payments (SIPs) which focus on prevention and management strategies.
