MBBS (hons) FRACGP. Graduated from Monash University in 1998 and has been in general practice since 2001. Rachel is currently on family leave from Princess Park Clinic and practices primarily from the After Hours GP Medical Centre. Rachel has a number of roles at GVGPs including a clinical advisory role, and provision of health education to secondary school students in the local area. Rachel also enjoys involvement in the training and assessment of general practice registrars through Bogong Regional Training Network. |

Dr Solange Adad
|
Dr Solange Adad graduated in Medicine in Brazil in 1981 working in general practice over 25 years and has been practicing in Australia since 1998. She completed her Masters Degree in Preventive Medicine (University of Sao Paulo, Brazil) in 1997. She has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice since 2001. She has been always involved in Education of Medical Students while practising as a GP. In 2010 Solange will be training Medical Students at The University of Melbourne Shepparton Medical Centre. |

Dr Hamid Ahmadi
|
Dr Hamid Ahmadi has worked in general practice since 2007 at Wyndham House Clinic. Currently Hamid juggles his time between general practice at Wyndham House, the GVGPs After Hours Clinic and in Emergency at Cabrini Hospital. Earlier on, he worked for 12 years in Emergency at Goulburn Valley Health, where he also fulfilled the role as a medical teacher. We are fortunate the Ahmadi family made the move to Australia from Iran in 1987, as we now have two excellent doctors from this family. Hamid’s son, Iraj, graduated in 2010 from Medicine at Monash University and works at the Box Hill Hospital. Hamid’s personal interests are reading, community service work and dining out with his lovely wife Roxanne. |

Dr John Dyson

MBBS Dr John Dyson MB BS graduated from Medicine in 1973. John has worked in general practice in Mooroopna and Shepparton since 1976. John is a long-term board member of GVGPs and his contribution is valuable as he has both skills and interests in general practice and economics. John is personally interested in the Environment, Finance and Flying. |

Mr David Jobling
|
David graduated from Melbourne University in 1980 with a Bachelor degree in Agricultural Science. After joining ICI and undertaking a number of sales & marketing roles he completed an ICI sponsored Masters of Business Administration, part time through the International Management Centre (Buckingham). David left ICI in 1991 to join Viscount Consolidated Industries. The country life called and in 1993 he moved to Shepparton to take up his current role of General Manager at I K Caldwell. David has been a director of IHD Pty Ltd, the parent company of the group Caldwell's does their buying through. He is a non GP Board Member and tries to add value to GVGP's through his experience in running a company and managing a large staff. |

Mr Jim O'Connor
|
Jim has lived and worked throughout Eastern Victoria for 40 years. He had a 27 year stint as a Court Registrar before switching to employments services as the CEO of Worktrainers Limited in 1996. Jim was a member of the Board of Bairnsdale Regional Health Service for 8 years with 2 terms as Chairman and is also a Life Governor. Jim is on the Executive of Foodbowl Unlimited and is the Deputy Chair of the newly formed Regional Development Australia Board- Hume Region. He is a community representative on the State Secondary Schools Education Advisory Board, a Bail Justice and a member of Rotary. |

Dr Satpal Singh
|
MBBS. PG.Dip Occ Med, MAFP, FRACGP, AM Dr Satpal Singh has been in general practice for 20 years in Malaysia and Australia. He was nominated by the Malaysian Government to study M.B.B.S. at Dhaka University in 1987 and later completed his Post-Graduate Diploma in Occupational Medicine from University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1998. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice and Member of the Academy of Family Physician Malaysia in 2004. He completed his Certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer from University of Queensland in 2007. Dr Satpal Singh has been the International Medical Graduates (IMG) Chair for the RACGP Faculty Board from November 2005 and RACGP Representative Hume Region from October 2008. |
